Ahhhhhhhhh...Hawaii...a place I never thought to go...BUT!! When my younger brother and his soon-to-be-bride decided to get hitched there on February 14th, all that changed!!
It ended up that my older brother couldn't take his wife, and I left My Man behind. That was a bit weird! But, it worked! Another single gal and the two of us roomed together in a huge condo at Waikoloa Village on the Big Island.

Beautiful sunsets! |
We were there for eight days, but I also had two extra days to get to and from Portland.
There wasn't enough time to see and do everything, but we did a lot!!

Amazing foliage and flowers everywhere!!! |

The most memorable church service at Living Stones Church with the ocean at our back. |

A day of sightseeing in the Hilo area. This is Rainbow Falls. |

I got to snorkel for the first time! This was the most beautiful little cove. I got to see at least a dozen different fish and a Moray eel...wow!!! |

The Voyagers of the Pacific luau was spectacular!! What yummy food and talented, authentic performances! |
