Ah! I love this one. Did you get up close with him sleeping like that or did you have a long lense?
ReplyDeleteOh, all tucked in and ready for a nap. What a cutie!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! What a life!
ReplyDeleteHowdy wilsonc~no special lens this time. The momma cows hide their calves under the sage brush and go off to water or feed. The calves know to stay hid or they'll be coyote bait. This was in a pretty small pasture and we were driving around in a Rhino looking for calves.
ReplyDeleteZZZZZZZZZZ..... Ah. the life of a calf...:-)
ReplyDeleteCute! He really stands out against that silvery-green sagebrush, doesn't he?

ReplyDeletePicture Perfect! I love when we have newborns and they are all hidden up so quiet! I think its my favorite time of year...checking on cows and making sure all calves are there is something I enjoy every day!!!! Arent we lucky!!!
