Yes, this photo is almost a repeat from a post earlier this week of my Journey Through Time. But, the composition here is a bit different...one I shot specifically with Friday Fences in mind!
I love reading your blog. I lived in John Day and La Grande for 9 years, before I moved back to New Mexico. NM is home, but Oregon, especially Eastern Oregon, still holds a special place in my heart. Love the photo and it looks very familiar, I am sure I drove by it a time or two.
I read your earlier post - wow, what a great couple of days. Wonderful job perks. :) LOVE this image! It's a really well framed shot. All the elements from the grass in the foreground to the fence, to the colored rock of the mountain and the delicious light it all meshes together beautifully!
What a dramatic vista you've captured with this photo. Lots of interest at every point in the shot. This image is one you open and think "I would enjoy seeing this framed and hanging on my wall." Well done.
The picture is beautiful! My workout partner and neighbor is also from Oregon. I've told her to swing by and check out your blog!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful place where you live!
Send some of that dry weather this way! The soggy weather is putting a damper on my riding.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm in love with the house in the background. How old is it?
ReplyDeleteOhhh, now, that's beautiful! Love that view w/ the fence, the sky, the mountain, the old house! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including my nephew, Landon, in your prayers... very much appreciated! =)
