First, sweet lil' Pony Girl over at Pony Girl Rides Again gave me my very first award!!! She thinks I'm a hot blogger!!! Ha!! Thanks so much Pony Girl. And if you want to see an amazingly colored Appaloosa, you gotta go see her Boy.
I'm going to pass this Hot Blog Award on to a couple of new friends of mine.
First is Reddunappylitivensfe over at her blog
There is a Horse in my Bubblebath.
She's new, like me, to blogging, and I'm loving her old photos and stories.
Second is Tracey with her Mustang Diaries. I'm actually going to get to meet her this weekend as she's coming to Burns Oregon to pick up her training horse from the Burns Wild Horse Corrals. She's been chosen as one of the trainers for the Northwest Extreme Mustang Makeover. Go to The Extreme Mustang Makeover for more info.
Good luck Tracey!!

Next came this wonderful button from Trainwreck who is such a kick in the pants when she writes in her blog Cowboys, Kids, and Sunsets. Most all of my readers already follow along her trail...if not, you need to go say howdy to her.
Then Mikey The Horse Shoeing Housewife sent me FLOWERS!!! I haven't had flowers in ages!! How sweet can it get?!? I get to relive my days of living in Arizona with her beautiful desert photos. Thanks Mikey!
I'm going to pass this beautiful bouquet on to a few of my Dogster friends:
Kat at Life Earth Sky (go check out her wildlife and animal paintings...amazing!).
Sista' Moonshine at Random Thoughts and Loose Ends. She's got two of the most beautiful Basenji pups you've ever seen...and they have personalities to match hers! Sassy!
Cassie (the Cairn Terrier) at Cassie's Chronicle. Yep, Cassie's got her own blog...that's one smart pup and cute as a button too!

Wow, thanks! At first I thought I was given a writing assignment and almost broke into a sweat having flasbacks of high school and my high school english teacher - yikes! Now that I understand that she is not going to grade my blog, I'll get up to the barn and take some more pictures :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats!! Enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteRE: our heifers....we keep them for breeding. We won't buck them again. But we have the philosophy that a major portion of the "bucking" gene comes from the female side. So we really want our girls to be good buckers. If they are good when we try them out, we keep em and breed to em, hoping they will produce a good bull.
ReplyDeleteHot fried frog feathers!! An award for me??? Well thanky thanky!!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, just one minor problem - one I'm encountering more and more these days - I don't know how to do a link :( !! Can I still accept my award?? Can I huh, can I? Maybe you can explain how to do it?? I shorely would appreciate it Miss Karen...pretty please, with hot coffee on top??
