Sunday Stills

Here we are with another edition of Sunday Stills challenge!

Everyone is invited to join us for the weekly photo challenge.

This week's challenge was "Closeup/Macro Pics". I had fun finding stuff to photograph this week and have 4 photos that I like. None of the photos have been altered. I've put them in order of my most to least favorite.

My cactus is still blooming. It's sitting in a window sill and using the Natural Light and Macro settings the color came out nice I think.

This is a leather Christmas gift project that I photographed back in December. There was a lot light coming into the window to light the subject, so I used the Natural Light and Macro settings.

This is my dead duck photo. I didn't know that he couldn't swim upright...so he just got photographed in the prone position! This is in the kitchen sink with lots of outside light through the window above...Natural Light and Macro settings were used.

I have a barbed wire wreath with these lil' cowboy ornaments on it. I like that the rust on the barbed wire showed up. Macro, Auto, and a filtered flash (covered with a tissue) were used.

In my knickknack case I have a few Pendleton RoundUp bar chips and this one seemed to come out the nicest. The filtered flash somehow didn't come out evenly on the photo, but even the tiny print came through.

If you would like to participate in next week's challenge, visit Sunday Stills later Sunday afternoon and Ed will have our new challenge posted~~
