Friday!! Random Five & the Video Challenge

Whoa...the week came and went FAST!! Here we are at Friday again!

Well...here are my Five Randoms for the day...

#1...I took a pretty nice shot this morning with my phone out the kitchen window (dirt and all) of the sunrise and the finches feasting at the feeder, and I hook the phone just now...and that photo is missing...with dozens of others...technology is a pain :(  So...here's Colt and Stanley after a hard few days at Crowley Ranch last fall working cow/calf pairs.

#2...My Day 1 with the video challenge could have been better...tomorrow, I'll turn on WiFi before I start, and I promise not to cry :'0

#3...Dinner is in the slow cooker and the house smells awesome!!!

#4...Speaking of food...I've been on a Paleo/Keto combo diet since March...and LOVE it!!! I honestly lost 11 pounds of inflammation in two weeks...no kidding! I have energy and sleep much better too!!

#5...OK...I'm still on food! The 7 chickens are picking up on their egg production...we're up to 3 a day. But, the rooster...well, there wasn't supposed to be a rooster!!! LOL!!

Linking up with Tom today!

Have an awesome weekend everyone!

With much LOVE,

#DoingLifeBetter

    1. Linda, so far he is, but he's young and just learning to crow...if he gets mean, we don't have any qualms of taking care of that issue. ;~)

  3. I have a hard time watching videos since my car accident/head injury, but I'm watching yours!

Sometime I feel like saying things out loud brings tears, maybe makes the things we're talking about more real? I hate it when that happens... Even though I know tears are OK. I just don't want to be the one doing the crying!

You probably already know this, but people edit their lives on Facebook. Not everyone is living the good life.

My 3 runner ducks (I got lucky and they're all girls) aren't laying at all yet. They did lay later into the winter than most chickens though. I can't wait to start getting eggs again! But actually I got them because they make me happy, not for the eggs. Those are just a bonus. Runner ducks are just so entertaining!

    1. Yes, tears are good. Believe it or not, I didn't cry at all through the whole process from diagnosis to the end of treatment. The most I've cried about it has been on video in front of all of you!! Seriously...I feel better on the inside right now! I'm so glad that you are able to watch...and sooooo appreciate your support!

Yes...nothing on FB is actually as it seems...

OK...gotta google runner ducks!! I do LOVE eating duck eggs...they're great for baking!
