Goof Goes Home

~A cowgirl gets up early in the morning,
decides what she wants to do,
and does it.~
~Marie Lords 1861~

Goof came to get a job done...and he did...now he's on to greener pastures up in the forest to finish up his year breeding for some fall calves.

Goof & His Momma
Goof is a great big baby says MaryLee.

Goof is Ready to go Home
Goof recognized MaryLee and followed her truck up the driveway...he couldn't wait to get in the trailer!

See Ya Next Year Goof!
Hope we see ya next year Goof!!

We're hoping for heifers next year. I can't tell you all the great stuff about Goof like MaryLee can, but his semen is shipped all over...he has some sort of high quality tender gene...blah, blah, blah...you'll have to ask MaryLee!!

But, he was a pretty good boy while he stayed with us...only took out one fence (green weeds looked really good on the other side of course)! Hopefully, he'll be back next year to do the same job! Can't wait to see these babies in the spring!

Now that's how all bulls should be right there. Easy to handle!!

  2. I am by no means a vegetarian. However, I'm not so sure I want to know that any of my future meals have names and personalities. ;-)

Goof sounds like an amazing guy. I had no idea that a bull would be so well-behaved.

  5. If only all bulls were that easy, then CCC wouldn't be hurting!

  6. I actually like most angus bulls. It's when they are white I start hating them. That tender gene is interesting; haven't heard of that before. How would I ask MaryLee about that?

  14. What a great life! A true ladies man! No wonder he likes the trailer so much...it takes him to get some loving on some new fresh girls. I think most human men would be happy to see a trailer and hop right in if they knew it was taking them to see some more ladies. lol!
He sure is one big ol hunk a bull, too!
Ibet you're gonna have some gorgeous (yummy) calves come Spring.
