Sunday Stills

Well, dang it Ed...I'm not sure if you're gonna to get to sleep in the house or the barn on your visit out here...you're just darn right mean!!! LOL...This week's Sunday Stills challenge is a "Self Portrait"...ugh...ok, I can't be a party pooper, so I did the best I could.

But it took a couple of these to get the show on the road...

A lil' of My Man's pee water beer wasn't too bad!
I prefer an amber ale myself ;~)

Ok...moving onto the task at hand. After working my ag surveys all week and being out of town on Thursday night, that left me with just Saturday to get anything done. Inside was my only option unless I wanted to freeze my tush off...sorry Ed...not gonna happen!!!

So, after giving up after setting the timer what seemed like about 500 times, here ya are...

Well, that's me...the end...

Great shots! I love that you wear a wild rag (mine are stored away).

Funny thing about your beer...when I was little, my brothers conned me into memorizing the Hamms Beer song and singing it to my parents...you know the one, from the ads in the 70s...ah, sibling love :)

These are really great, K! I think you did well in capturing your true cowgirl persona, too. The last one brought a big smile to my face.

And your 'Ending' was awesome! What a cute litte tushie you got...you're smart in keeping it from freezing. LOL!

Glad to see you checking in for Sunday Stills. YOu sure are brave. I admire that, my friend! hehe

Gotta admit. I love those chaps. They're gorgeous. You look like you're trying not to crack up in each photo, makes the last one even better!

Great shots! Of course, I like the last one best.....it kinda reflects my opinon about having to take pics of myself. LOL

I did think about the timer but had no idea how to find it let alone use it!

The B/W pictures looks like you need a six-shooter on your hip! Love em! Looks like you had fun in the process! Ya know, we've got to throw in our best features sometimes! The bootie shot is great!

Caroline said...

That B&W photo is great - "don't mess with this cowgirl." And the last shot would be so great framed on your wall. Way to step up to the challenge!

Sabrina said...

Love that b&w and "The end" of course! Clever way to finish the challenge! Love your choice of clothing and background!

These are all great! I love the outfit! Living in NY we don't get to see too many cowboys(or cowgirls)....in fact NON! Ü So this is treat to see so many cowboys & horses on these blogs....A wonderful feel for country living~
Thanks for taking the time to dress up for your portrait~

We don't have a name yet as we are very new, but Jody from cascade Cowgirls is our leader/coach. Along with Stacey Riggs.

We practice at the place where I board and HY Tyme Equine rescue, their arena is 100 x 200 !

Its been fun so far, but am looking forward to more serious practice and a core group of riders.
