Lil's sad eyes. |
What's with the star on the forehead that he didn't have before? Beats me...we're trying to figure it out! I'm going to try washing it and see what happens. I talked to the vet and she said she's never heard of spots coming in after they were born (except scar type color changes).
He is so cute.
ReplyDeleteYou can kinda see it in the picture you posted of him with Colt, on FB.
Looks like a new white spot to me! LOL LOL No roan in there somewhere? LOL
Maybe Pierce has a little renegade Appaloosa in there somewhere? :)
ReplyDeleteCute little guy!
He is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteOur dark bay morgan filly was born a blood red bay, but turned dark as she aged and shed out. She also had a marking on her forehead and nose which are no longer there as a 4 year old.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie pie!! :)
ReplyDeleteTheir markings do change a little as they age. Check for pink skin under the white, if there isn't any then it's just a color variation. Rio was born with a heart shaped star, and now that he is older, the heart has roaned out and the actual white mark, with pink skin, is the shape of a shield, overlaid by the roan heart.
ReplyDeleteNice pony, like him a lot. He`ll do, as they say. But that spot? You never know.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sensitive eyes!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteCute, love those softly sad eyes...
ReplyDeleteWhen Sunshine was born there wasn't a white hair on her forehead. At 2 yrs old we found 3 hairs that where white. Momma had a blaze.
ReplyDeleteSo who knows?
Starlette had a star only, but when I bought her, she got a tiny snip which had gotten a bit bigger as she got older. She's also getting stray white hairs in her mane...and she's only 12.
ReplyDeleteHe sure is a cute one!! It is sad when they miss momma and he got attached to his brother, that is good, cant say I blame him for that ;)
