Sagebrush vs Fence ~ A Struggle?

Fence vs Sagebrush
Who's winning...the fence or the sagebrush?

Actually, I think they're working together in harmony...to keep the fence standing!

Linking up today with Friday Fences #28

Happy Friday!!!

  1. The Sagebrush!......It has it by a whisker. But I have to admit, they both look in harmony.

  2. That's a symbiotic relationship, for sure!

  3. You do have some picturesque fences. I bet the critters don't lean on that fence with all that prickly sagebrush.

  4. Great shot! Love the partnership and the colors.

  5. That is a wonderful photo! That is definitely my favorite kind of fence. I don't know much about sagebrush - not something we have here in the east!

  6. It's like the hedgerows that serve as fences over in England.

  7. I kind of had the feeling they were leaning on each other, too.

  8. Ya kinda looked like to me the brush was holding up the fence. Our sage doesn't usually get that tall, but I like the look

  9. Yep, the brush is definitely holding up the fence, especially in that one area!

  10. I've never known anyone who's had sagebrush...WOW...it's just like in those Westerns that the Pres watches!...:)JP

  11. I think its a joint effort. Love the fence. I posted one similar, but it's in the trees.

  12. Yup, the sagebrush is winning!

  13. I count on blackberries in my part of Oregon. Unfortunately the road crew doesn't agree and have a new toy that comes along and chews them all up. So what will keep in the cattle now?

  14. Oh oh I wonder who stands up in the end. ^_^

  15. Probably the sagebrush?! The fence seems to be giving up & leaning... but they look so cool together! =)

  16. But in the long run Mother Nature always prevails over what man has built!

  17. gorgeous. i believe they are helping one another along. without one the other would be just. with the two of them they look so cool!! (:

  18. Looks like the sagebrush felt the fence needed a little shoring up. :)
The decorative wooden fence even with the sagebrush has much more appeal than the metal staked one in the background.
    Nice shot!
    Thanks for your visit.
