BRR! We just had our first snow today, as in snow was flying but it didn't stick. Thank goodness.

Nothing more fun to watch than a fresh roll in the snow. It sure as "shaken" beats a fresh roll in the mud!!

ReplyDeleteWe got snow here this morning but the ground is still muddy from the day and a half of pouring rain. So...what do you think Gilly did yesterday??? Found the biggest sloppiest mud hole and cover himself with mud!!! ugh At least Colt is clean! :-)
A photograph? Its a greek word, can be translated as "painting with light".
ReplyDeleteSo, did Rembrandt paint a bad picture? I dont think so. Did Cartier-Bresson? Well? actually he did! The iconic shot of his, where a man jumps across a pool of water, is in fact only part of the full picture.
he had the picture cropped to enhance the good part.
So your piccies are`nt bad! Look at them through different eyes, I find your pictures emotive, active. and "real". To capture the moment, thats what a photographer does, he/she cant always plan, only respond. Hope that was ok to say?
I wish I was tough enough to do that. I bet it feels good.

ReplyDeleteOMG I heard that you were getting the worst winter in 50 years. We had that last year. It was so god awful, my heart bleeds for you. I hope you have your water on something that allows you to water your livestock. We were shlepping buckets, because the lines had frozen. I'm sure I don't have to tell you to fill up the bathtubs so that you have water to flush the toilets and water your horses and cows. Get a generator for your water. Other than that, I'm here for you. I was where you will be and it's not fun..\
