  3. Oh this makes me laugh. In my former life as a city girl, I had to be instructed on the best way to get my boots on when I wasn't wearing boot-cut jeans. "Put your boots and your jeans on at the same time," I was told. Huh? But I finally got it figured out.

Just noticed your tweet about garlic from springtime. I have Lyle on their Spirulina for his allergies, and it works wonders.

  4. I dropped my pants like that once along the county highway when i felt a woodtick crawling in my shorts, but that's a story for another day.

  6. It's a silly photo huh? I was just heading for the shower...not what most of y'all thought! But when I saw the pile, I couldn't help but take a pic!

Thanks 7msn for the tip on the Spirulina product. My old man Toby is really itchy in the summer; maybe that would help. But the Garlic Bugoff stuff really has cut the ticks down by at least 90%...I was very skeptical at first spending that much money, but it's working...that's what counts!!

  7. Funny photo (heeheehee; in a hurry were ya!) I feed my horses garlic- I use crushed garlic and put a heaping spoonful in their grain. It keeps the bugs away, boosts their immune system, and I've never had a foal get scours when it's mama is on garlic.I also use powdered garlic if I run out of crushed. It's cheap to buy, specially if you go to onee of the wholesale stores; probably a lot less than buying garlic that's marketed for horses. No reason that it wouldn't work on dogs too.

  8. Fun picture...I need to get me a belt buckle! ;)
Interesting about the garlic...I've heard about it before, but also think I read about some side effects?? I will have to research it. Anything to help my horse with the itchies and the buggos!
