All of these photos were taken in the Ochoco National Forest last week while we searched for Wild Horses.
Indian Paintbrush amongst some old scrub brush.
I don't know what these were called, but they were justcoming into the end of their bloom.
(maybe some sort of bluebell)
Wild Columbine and the purple flower from abovegrowing in a rock face.
I found this Wild Columbine growing in a pond withthousands of polliwogs.
This photo was taken on our place in the high desert.
I have no idea what these are, but they areusually tucked up underneath a sagebrush.
