Also, they can confiscated any vehicle, trailer, equipment etc. that was used in the crime...!Janice Grinyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14363741660626407979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976105067124355885.post-47805267172415416662011-03-06T15:15:04.167-08:002011-03-06T15:15:04.167-08:00YAY! Looks like that brand of yours will show up nice and clear; Congrats!

Montana has 100's of inspectors and tight laws on livestock; all cattle coming in and out are inspected. Even in order to bring my horses over from Wisconsin i had to have a brand inspector come out and look at them. My sister-in-law did have a very uniquely marked Longhorn cow dissappear a couple years ago. Never ran across a corpse, adn we looked in every hole so....who knows! Too bad rustling had to be the motivation behind getting it. Is that a 3 iron?
I asked my father-in-law, by way of Malcolm who is on the phone with him now, if rustling is a prob. in our area. It was discussed but has led into another topic (calf prices down in ou NE where a friend saw them sell at the sale barn for $500) so I'll have to get my answer later. I was thinking of getting a horse brand as well, but not sure if I want either of those or something completly different.
