The wood feeder is big enough for them to separate the hay out and pick the parts they want to eat first. They just push it around inside the feeder.

The big tires work well too. The tires have a piece of plywood bolted to the bottom and the sidewalls are cut out of the tires (both top and bottom) too to make it easier for them to get at the hay. I can't even imagine how much feed we would loose if we didn't use the feeders because of the wind.gtyyuphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02402170522183324256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976105067124355885.post-46831166019918229542011-03-23T15:19:39.234-07:002011-03-23T15:19:39.234-07:00Frosty buns..:-)Frosty buns..:-)Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17502488287339607228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976105067124355885.post-13256077504545482992011-03-23T12:46:35.521-07:002011-03-23T12:46:35.521-07:00That is about what it looks like here, at least fo...That is about what it looks like here, at least for the moment ;)lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01998455958377639450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2976105067124355885.post-54338434080146954112011-03-23T12:22:17.721-07:002011-03-23T12:22:17.721-07:00Little bit of wind and snow there?
