Guest Blogger~Cindy Sue~She's Got Somethin' to Say!

Howdy to all of ya wonderful humans!! First I want to thank ya personally for all of the prayers, good thoughts, healing vibs, Power of the Paw, and just plain ol' love that ya sent my way during my recovery from the Coyote Attack.  (Ya know...I just 'bout had them two coyotes whipped when mom showed up...I jist let her think she saved me to make her feel better...I may be lil' but I'm mighty!)

Anyhows, I'm here to tell ya that I'm totally recovered!!!! I feel great!!  It's because of humans like y'all, and yer pets too, that pulled me through that lil' bit of a tough time. I Luvs y'all bunches, 'n I sure wish I could lick each n' everyone of ya on the cheek!!!

But, this here's somethin' I think is really important n' wanna share wiff ya.

Petfinder Adopt-the-Internet Day

Petfinder's 15 Year Anniversary!

This is very important to me 'cause I'm a Petfinder pet...That's right!  And, without Petfinder, my mommy would never have found me!! Lil' Rat Terriers aren't very plentiful in Harney County, so she had to search on the internet. She 'n daddy found me in Battle Mountain Nevada (4 hours away) at a small rescue shelter. Petfinder is the best website for searching for pups and cats that need new, lovin' homes.

So, let's help 'em spread the word 'bout "Adopt the Internet" campaign so lots more lil' critters can get homes like I did!!!  Go to their website n' read 'bout all the fun stuff ya can do to help promote the event...it will be soooooo worth it...y'all be glad ya did!

Thanks...I enjoyed talkin' wiff y'all...have a GREAT week!!

Yer pal wiff licks 'n wags ~Cindy Sue~

  4. Hey Cindy Sue, glad to see that you are all better.

We adopted our Austin (rattie mix) at Furry Bottoms Rescue here in WI. We was in a shelter in IL destined for the chamber when the fine folks at Furry Bottoms brought him north. We brought him home almost two years ago, and he's a huge part of our family. And he loves life on the farm. No sage rats here though....

  5. Hey back at ya Cindy Sue. Glad to see that you are back to your perky little self!
There are so many (too many) good dogs out there for the pickings. Petfinder is a wonderful resource if someone is looking to rescue a nice dog or cat. We recently found our new dog Maddie May here in Colorado on the petfinder site . Glad to hear that you are passing on the word. We all hope for the day when there are no more homeless or unwanted pets!

  7. Cindy Sue I am glad you are feeling like a super Foxy Cindy Sue again and I know all your friends out here in blogland feel the same way about Petfinder as you and your Mommie do. I myself was at a shelter when my Mommie and Daddy found me too via the good work of Petfinder and a TV station in Tulsa, OK who had me on their morning news program. My now Mommie said to my Daddy, we need to go get that little Jack Russell! They had movers coming but that didn't stop them and I am so glad they didn't let that little thing get in the way of rescuing me because my chances were harder because I was already 6 years old. I am going to ask Mommie to post the Petfinder on her blog "the Wildwood".
Glad you are all well and thank god for parents like ours! love ya, Jackie Jo

  12. Hey there Cindy Sue, my boys Dweezil and Squig are going to post a guest blog in solidarity with you. They both have been torn up by a coyote and they are so happy you're doing so much better. They know what it feels like. If only they would stop fighting. Well I'm going to let them have their say. Who knows what they're going to say.

Any way little girl. I am so happy you're on your feet again. It just goes to show, "you can't keep a good girl down."
