SkyWatch Friday

~He confused me in body and mind.
I'm still trying to straighten things out.~
~Virginia Ball 1890~

After my rant yesterday, I dedicate this
beautiful sunrise to all animals in need.
May they have a "new dawn in life."

  1. Beautiful!! Don't apologize for the rant...needed to be said. I was wondering how far from Tumalo are you? There's this gorgeous little bay mustang that's available for adoption there with a gal named Kate Beardsley. I've fallen in love with him and havn't even seen or met him yet. His name is Eagle and he's got a sad story from what I gather. Been wanting to go check him out, but I can't ever seem to make it over the hill in the winter weather. Just wondering if you ever make it by that way... (sheepish grin)
Happy New Year to you and yours too, and God Bless you!!

  2. C-ingspots~I know Kate quite well...she's the gal that took my Duncan (bay mustang from the Ochoco's) and has him in her pack string. I've worked with her with the Central Oregon Wild Horse Coalition too. She's as honest as the sun comes up...guaranteed...and she knows her horses. Eagle's a mighty handsome boy!!!

You only need to drive another 3 1/2 hours to get to our place...headed east! You're welcome here any time, but I will be in Tumalo for my Project 5 clinic in April again.

  4. Gorgeous photo.

On your side of the mountains it's the extreme cold weather. On my side it's mud and rain rot.

People are so frigging stupid. But it's the animal that pays.

Beautiful red sky. Om. Beautiful red sky. Om....
